Hardened Linux Operating System
The OE/Yocto-based operating system with a mainline Linux kernel (LTS) uses the current QT6 framework. It offers comprehensive functions that are similar to those of a device management (MDM) system:
- Remote configuration
- OTA updater (also delta updates for e.g. devices with LTE network)
- Device monitoring
- Redundant read-only partitions
- Encrypted (mTLS) connection to the cloud platform (device-specific certificate is already applied during production)
- Data management: Buffer measurement data and upload to the cloud platform
