The requirements for outdoor touch panels are varied. In cold or heat, the components in the touch panel have to do their job reliably. Likewise, weather conditions such as rain, snow or freezing wetness are a challenge in the outdoor area. Even in this situation, readability and touch operation and glare-free working in direct sunlight must be guaranteed.
The tci outdoor touch panels based on the industrial series F16 and ensure these requirements. Here you can choose between a solution as a support arm system or a built-in touch panel.

Condensation challenge

In cold and damp conditions, condensation occurs when the dew point is not reached. By using an active dew point monitor and a heater, the F16 can be operated at 100% humidity (condensing!). Successfully tested according to DIN 75220. Be achieved beyond the norm -40°C.

Even in extremely hot regions - even in direct sunlight - the overtemperature monitoring and the foldable and tiltable sunshield ensure maximum operating safety.

A status LED with operating status display is integrated behind the glass at the front.

Thanks to the Android operating system, the touch panels are the ideal basis for your web-based application as HMI or for visualization.
